She never took him where he wanted to go, but she always took him where he needed to. )

Author's Notes: Massive spoilers for Portal 2. Seems that I hadn't forgotten how to write, I was just waiting for the right fandom to come along. Beta-read by the superb [livejournal.com profile] chaosdeathfish.

It had been a stupid, stupid idea, and now she was stuck with it. )

The Leverage/WH40K crossover.

No, really.

Featuring the adventures of Lord-Captain Nathan Fforde, of the Rogue Trader ship Leverage; his Seneschal, Sophia Devereaux; Arch-Militant and former mercenary Colonel Eliot; Explorator Hardison ("It's the age of the Magos, baby!"); and a woman known only as Parker, who was thrown out of the Callidus Temple for not being good enough at the social skills bit.

Their plan: to save the Imperium from itself by reviving Roboute Guilliman.

"Let's go steal us a Primarch!"

(Now I just need a plot and tedious things like that).

Title: Amaurot
Author: Arachne Kallisti
Fandom: Star Trek TNG
Rating: PG-13
Genre: Drama, Horror, Crack.
Disclaimer: Not mine. Really. Not even slightly.
Warnings: Body-horror and mind-screw.
Summary: The first civilisation to arise in the galaxy left behind an ancient and powerful device. The Borg want it. How far is the crew of the Enterprise prepared to go to stop them?

Author's Notes: Sorry this one took so long. I set myself a couple of tasks here that turned out to be quite difficult for me, specifically a) turning the results of a night of automatic writing under the influence of ginger wine and Grant Morrison into something coherent, and b) making Deanna Troi interesting. Do let me know what you think of the results.

Beta-read by [livejournal.com profile] ignisophis. Contains spoilers for "Q Who", "The Best of Both Worlds", "I, Borg", "Descent", "All Good Things..." and "First Contact".

I haven't written anything for ages. Got all these plot bunnies, and no idea how to get any of them down onto a page. So, here's a meme I spotted on [livejournal.com profile] dracothelizard's journal.

I have a list of 10 characters, which I shall be keeping secret right now. Suggest some conversations or scenes or whatever been two or more of the characters, and I shall attempt to write them. Note: one of them isn't human, and one's a real person. Prompts can be as long and complicated or as simple as you like, but I'd like to have more than one word, please. Anything from "2, 4 and 6 are planning a complicated heist. 7 is the owner of the item they're trying to steal, and 5 is the detective on their trail" to "9 and 10 run into each other down the pub".

Go on, get my creative juices flowing.
